Personal Data Policy

Juno the bakery ApS (the “Company”) is subject to the Danish Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which i.a. means that you as an applicant must be informed of which of your personal data the Company processes, as well as which rights you have.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data, data purpose and lawful processing

To evaluate your application for a position at the Company, the Company must process and store the following personal data:

  • Your name, address, email address and telephone number,

  • Your sex and birth date,

  • Your CV, your motivated application as well as other documents that you wish to attach to your application,

  • Any photos and/or videos you choose to submit in addition to your application.

All information is treated confidentially in accordance with the Danish Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The Company’s legal basis for processing your personal data derives from the legitimate interest that the Company has in assessing your application, and the obvious need for the Company to evaluate the professional and personal qualifications of an applicant before entering an employment contract with him or her, cf. Article 6 (1) (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Generally, we receive the above personal information directly from you.

3. Recipients and processors of your personal data

Your personal data is processed by the Company, unless other use follows from the nature of the recruitment procedure or the nature of the evaluation. However, your application is processed by our data processor one.com, which hosts our mail system.

4. Right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection

You are entitled to insight into the personal data the Company has registered about you.

You are entitled to object to any processing of your personal data.

In addition, you have the right to demand that registered personal data about you be corrected or deleted or that its processing be restricted. If, during the application process, you request the deletion or restriction of information that is necessary for the Company’s assessment of your application, the Company will no longer be able to assess your application. In that case, your application will be rejected and deleted.

In certain cases, you have the right to have your personal information handed over or transferred to another data controller.

Under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), certain specific situations may exclude the Company from the obligation to comply with the above-mentioned rights.

5. Duration of storage of your personal data

Your personal information will be deleted 6 months after receipt, unless you give permission to the Company that they may store your application subsequently. Your personal data will be erased immediately after the recruitment process has been completed - however, no later than 6 months after your application has been received unless you specifically agree to a longer period of storage.

6. Complaints

You may file a complaint against the processing of your personal data. Your complaint may be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Copenhagen, Denmark, dt@datatilsynet.dk.
